HAPPY SNOW DAY GREENPOINT! We will be OPEN TONIGHT for your wine needs, but have cancelled local delivery service and our regularly-scheduled wine tasting. BUT DON’T FRET! There will be wine open for those of you who brave the storm… we would never leave you high and dry on a thirsty Thursday!

And here’s an idea for you… how about some MULLED WINE? Mulled wine has been on my mind for the last couple weeks (since old man winter reared his ugly head). Also known as Glühwein, Vino Caliente, Glögg, Vin Brulé, Bisschopswijn, Vin Chaud, Candola, Vinho Quente…or literally a hundred other names, depending on where in the world you find yourself. There definitely seems to be a universal love for some hot wine!

Here are a few recipes that I’ve been eyeing… there are probably more ways to make it than there are names for it, but one thing you’ll definitely need is WINE! Stay warm and cozy friends… Dandy Loves You!
